The Hill of Content Bookshop has been part of Melbourne life for over 100 years. It has recently relocated 120m up the road to a new location in a historic building at the Parliament end of Bourke Street. The new fitout design will be a tasteful re-creation of the unique atmosphere and refined aesthetic found in the iconic store, while embracing a new era. The new space also provides an opportunity to improve the accessibility of the store, and all areas will now be fully accessible to all customers and staff. Adaptability is also a key factor and will allow the new shop to transform into an event space for book launches, interviews and presentations.
